Is the course suitable for any dog?

Some owners want to come to a training class because they don’t like their dog’s behaviour around other dogs and they want to socialise them. Young dogs can sometimes use aggression as a means of feeling safe in social situations but a class situation is only beneficial if you have learnt how to help your dog first. Attending the class and then becoming cross when your dog barks or lunges at another won’t help him to change his behaviour. Please ask for advice if you are experiencing problems of this kind as a behaviour consultation will be more beneficial and once you have learnt how to help your dog you could possibly join a class later.
